Bilocale in via Pitagora, 2, Cotura, Scalea

The Tyrrhenian coast is at the door here, with a long urban beach at Scalea and the Riviera dei Cedri coastline continuing north and south. The Lao River valley and the western edge of the Pollino massif are inland within this part of northern Calabria, and the Parco Nazionale del Pollino begins a short drive away. Scalea is one of the larger towns on this stretch and has a marina, railway station and the services of a seaside centre; Praia a Mare is nearby, with the Isola di Dino offshore and the coast toward San Nicola Arcella known for cliffs and small coves. This part of Calabria is known for cedar cultivation and summer beach tourism.
