The cluster is on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, with beaches directly on the sea and the Coastal Range of the Paolana Catena rising a short distance inland. The nearest larger town is Paola, which has rail connections, services and the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola. The coast here is part of the Riviera dei Cedri, known for citrus cultivation and seaside resorts.
