Frazione Regina, Via Valle II,, 17, Lattarico

The cluster sits in the inland belt between the Crati valley and the Tyrrhenian side of northern Calabria, with low hills and cultivated countryside around it. The Coastal Range of Calabria rises to the west within this radius, and the Sila is farther away to the east but not part of the immediate landscape here. The Crati river plain and the lower valleys feeding it shape the area around Lattarico. The nearest town of size is Cosenza-Rende, which has the main services, rail connections, university facilities and hospitals for this part of Calabria. The Tyrrhenian coast around the Paola side is close enough to matter for access, but it is outside the immediate 15 km landscape. This part of the province is known mainly for mixed farming, olive groves and small hill settlements rather than for a single protected or nationally known landscape feature.
