Contrada Contessa,, 9, Lattarico

The area lies in the Crati valley with low hills and cultivated slopes around the town. The Crati river runs through this part of the province. The nearest town of size is Cosenza, which has a substantial historic centre, services and rail connections. The Tyrrhenian coast around Paola and the Sila mountains are both outside the immediate 15 km landscape and do not define the surroundings here. This part of Calabria is known mainly for mixed agriculture and for being in the orbit of the Cosenza urban area.
