Localita' Binanuova - Via Domenico Barbieri, 15, Gabbioneta-Binanuova

This is in the lower Oglio plain between Cremona and the edge of the Brescian countryside, with flat farmland, irrigation canals and scattered farmsteads as the dominant landscape. The Oglio river runs nearby and the Po is not far to the south, but this stretch is mainly an agricultural river plain rather than a gorge, lake or protected mountain setting. Cremona is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic centre, the cathedral and Torrazzo, and daily services. The area is known for intensive agriculture and for the wider Cremonese plain’s dairy and cured-meat production.
