Via Corte Guazzona, 5, San Giovanni in Croce

This is flat Po Valley countryside between the Oglio and Po river systems, with fields, drainage canals and scattered farmsteads as the dominant landscape. The nearest town of size is Casalmaggiore, which has a full set of everyday services and a historic centre on the Po. The area is known for intensive agriculture and for the network of small rural settlements of the lower Cremonese plain.
