Terratetto plurifamiliare in Corte de' Cortesi con Cignone

This is open Po plain country between Cremona and Brescia, with irrigated farmland, canals and scattered farmsteads. The Oglio River runs a few kilometres east of Castelvisconti, and the Adda and Serio are also part of the wider plain landscape in this part of the province. Soresina is the nearest town of some size, with everyday services and a rail link; Crema and Cremona are the larger historic towns used for higher-order services. The area is known for intensive agriculture and dairy production linked to the Padana plain.
