Rustico in Crema

This is the central Lombard plain between the Adda and Serio rivers, with flat agricultural land, irrigation canals and scattered farmsteads. The Serio runs just west of Crema and the Adda is a short distance farther west, with riverside stretches and protected areas along both watercourses, including the Parco Regionale del Serio and the Parco Adda Sud within reach. Crema is the nearest town of size and has a complete historic centre with a cathedral, arcaded streets and everyday services. The area is known for intensive farming in the Po plain rather than for a singular landscape feature.
