Trilocale in Strongoli

The Ionian coast is at the door, with a long low shoreline of beaches and cultivated plain around Strongoli Marina. The Neto river reaches the sea nearby to the north. Inland, within this radius, the land rises only gradually into low hills rather than a marked mountain landscape. Crotone is the nearest city of size, with port services, shops and the archaeological museum linked to Magna Graecia. This stretch of coast is known for beach tourism, olive groves and agriculture on the plain, and for the Greek-era history of the wider Crotoniate coast.
