Trilocale in Isola di Capo Rizzuto

The Ionian coast is at the door here, on the Capo Rizzuto stretch within the Marine Protected Area of Capo Rizzuto, with low cliffs, small coves and long beaches around Le Castella and the headland. The area is tied to the sea rather than to inland relief; the Sila is much farther inland and does not count as the immediate landscape. Le Castella, within the local area, has the Aragonese castle on the islet by the shore. Crotone is the nearest larger town and provides the main services, port and rail links. This part of the coast is known for bathing water, fishing and the marine reserve.
