Localita' marinella - a pochi passi dal mare

The cluster is on the Ionian coast of Calabria, on the Marine Protected Area of Capo Rizzuto, with a long stretch of shoreline that alternates low cliffs, coves and sandy beaches. The Capo Rizzuto promontory and the Aragonese fortress at Le Castella are within the local coastal landscape. Inland, within this radius, the land is mostly open agricultural plain and low rolling ground rather than mountain country. Crotone is the nearest town of size, with port, shops and services. The area is known for its protected marine waters and beach coast.
