Borgata Clara o Savai, via Beltramone /A, 75, Barge

The cluster lies at the foot of the Cottian Alps, where the plain around Saluzzo meets the mountain valleys leading toward Paesana and the upper Po. The Po rises on Monviso above Pian del Re, and Monviso dominates the skyline from this part of the valley. The Parco del Monviso begins up-valley, and the upper Po valley is the main named landscape feature of the area. The nearest ski lifts are the small facilities at Rucas near Bagnolo Piemonte, roughly 20–30 minutes by road, while the larger lifts of Crissolo are about 35–45 minutes away. Saluzzo is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic centre and services, and Pinerolo is the nearest larger urban centre. The area is known for orchards and mixed Alpine foothill farming, with Bagnolo Piemonte nearby also known for stone quarrying.
