LOCALITA' VALCOCCA, snc, Roccaforte Mondovì

The Maritime Alps rise immediately around Chiusa di Pesio, with the Valle Pesio running south toward the French border. The Pesio stream crosses the valley, and the area reaches into the Parco Naturale del Marguareis, part of the Marguareis massif known for limestone peaks, karst plateaus and cave systems. The nearest skiing is at small lifts in the mountain valleys around Frabosa and Artesina, roughly 30–45 minutes by road depending on the base area. Cuneo is the nearest town of size, with a full set of services, rail connections and a substantial historic centre. The area is known for mountain walking, woodland and pasture landscapes, and for the Certosa di Pesio just up the valley.
