Trilocale in Costigliole Saluzzo

The cluster sits in the Saluzzo plain at the foot of the Cottian Alps, with Monviso dominating the western skyline and the lower Varaita Valley opening within a few kilometres. The Po rises on Monviso farther up the valley system, and the Varaita is the local river of this side of the plain. Saluzzo is the nearest substantial town and has a preserved historic centre with the hilltop Castiglia and a concentration of late-medieval and Renaissance buildings. Manta, just nearby, is known for the Castello della Manta. This part of the province is known for fruit growing, especially apples and kiwi, with a dense pattern of orchards across the plain.
