via Cima, /A, 10, Saluzzo

The cluster lies on the Saluzzo plain at the foot of the Cottian Alps, with Monte Monviso dominating the western skyline and the upper Po valley beginning within this radius. The Po rises on Monviso farther up the valley, and the Varaita valley also opens nearby toward the mountains. Saluzzo is the nearest town of size and has a substantial historic centre with a hilltop old town and the former seat of the Marchesato di Saluzzo. Staffarda Abbey is nearby on the plain. The area is known for fruit farming, especially the Saluzzo plain orchards, and for access toward the Monviso valleys.
