Strada Valle Bormida, 5, Cortemilia

The cluster is in the Langhe, in a hill landscape of wooded ridges, vineyards, hazelnut groves and small valleys. The Bormida di Millesimo runs through Cortemilia. This is the Alta Langa area, known in particular for the Tonda Gentile delle Langhe hazelnut and mixed wine-and-woodland country. Alba is the nearest substantial town, with a full range of services and a historic centre; the wider Langhe wine area around Alba, Barolo and Barbaresco is a UNESCO cultural landscape, though the core wine hills are farther north than Cortemilia.
