Via Vecchia di Monastero, 4, Mondovì

The cluster is in the Monregalese at the meeting point between the first Maritime Alpine valleys and the lower hills that run into the Tanaro plain. The Ligurian Alps and Maritime Alps are close to the south and west, with the valley entrances around Villanova Mondovì and Roccaforte Mondovì leading toward the mountain basin of Frabosa and Artesina. The nearest ski lifts are the Mondolè Ski area around Prato Nevoso, Artesina and Frabosa Soprana, roughly 20–30 km away and usually about 30–45 minutes by road depending on the exact start point. Mondovì itself is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic upper town, services, shops and rail links. The area is known for the transition from Piedmontese hills to the Alpine valleys, for hazelnut and mixed farming country to the north, and for access toward the cave area of Bossea farther up the valley.
