Quadrilocale in Peveragno

The cluster lies at the foot of the Maritime Alps, with the Bisalta massif directly above the plain and the first alpine valleys beginning within a few kilometres. The Parco Naturale delle Alpi Marittime is nearby to the south, and the mountain area around Entracque and Valdieri is the main protected landscape of this part of the province. The nearest ski lifts are the small lifts at Lurisia and the larger stations in the Limone Piemonte area, both reached by mountain-road drives of roughly half an hour to under an hour depending on the valley. Cuneo is the nearest town of size, with the main rail station, services and a substantial historic centre. This area is known for the transition from the Cuneo plain to the alpine valleys and for chestnuts, cattle farming and mountain access.
