Quadrilocale in Racconigi

The cluster lies on the flat plain between Cuneo and Turin, with the Cottian Alps visible to the west on clear days but outside the immediate landscape. The area is crossed by the Maira and by irrigation canals of the lower Piedmont plain. Racconigi is a small service town with shops and rail links, and it is known above all for the Castello Reale di Racconigi and its park, part of the UNESCO Savoy residences. The surrounding land is mainly agricultural, with fields and farmsteads across the plain.
