Bilocale in Savigliano

The area lies in the flat to gently open plain between Savigliano, Saluzzo and Fossano, with the Cottian Alps forming the main horizon to the west. The Varaita and Maira valleys begin farther west, but around the cluster the lived landscape is mainly agricultural plain crossed by secondary roads and irrigation channels. Saluzzo is the nearest historic town of note, with a substantial old centre on its hill below Monviso. Cuneo is the nearest larger provincial city, with full services and rail links. This part of the province is known for fruit growing and mixed agriculture.
