Bilocale in Frabosa Sottana

The Ligurian Alps rise immediately around Frabosa Sottana, with the Mondolè area above the valley and the Marguareis massif close by. The upper valley is shaped by karst terrain and caves; the Bossea Caves are in the same commune. The nearest ski lifts are at Prato Nevoso and Artesina, a short drive uphill from the village, with the Mondolè ski area spread across the slopes above. The nearest town of size is Mondovì, which has a larger historic centre, services and rail connections. The area is known for mountain pastures, ski villages and limestone alpine terrain.
