The Ligurian Alps rise immediately around the village, with the Monregalese valleys and the higher slopes of the Marguareis massif close by. Mondovì is the nearest town of size, with a historic upper town, services and rail connections. The area is known for mountain pasture, caves and karst terrain, and for winter sports on the Mondolè slopes.
