Mansarda in Monte Vidon Corrado

This is hilly inland Marche, with cultivated ridges and small valleys between the Tenna and Ete Morto river systems. The Sibillini Mountains are visible to the west and begin within this radius, with Monti Sibillini National Park starting farther inland beyond the first belt of hills. Falerone and Servigliano are the nearest small historic centres of note, and Fermo is the nearest larger town with full services and a substantial historic centre. The area is known for hat-making: Montappone is one of the centres of the traditional cappello industry of the Fermano.
