VIA ROMA /C, 151, Falerone

The area sits in the middle Tenna valley, with cultivated hills and views toward the Sibillini Mountains to the west. The Tenna river runs through this part of inland Fermo province. Monti Sibillini National Park begins farther inland, with the mountain landscape becoming much stronger beyond the immediate hills. The nearest town of size is Fermo, which provides the main services and historic centre for this part of the province. Falerone is known for the archaeological area of the Roman town of Falerio and its theatre.
