The Tenna valley cuts through this part of inland Fermo province, and the landscape around the village is a mix of wooded slopes, cultivated hills and small ridges. Monti Sibillini National Park lies nearby on the inland side, with the main park landscapes and trailheads reached by driving farther west. The nearest larger town is Amandola, which has the main local services for this mountain-facing part of the province.
