Civitanova Marche is the nearest larger town and provides a full set of shops, services and rail links on the coast. Inland, the first historic hill towns of the Fermano are reachable in a short drive, but they sit beyond the immediate coastal setting. This stretch of coast is known for seaside tourism and footwear manufacturing in the wider area between Civitanova and Montegranaro.
