Sant'Elpidio a Mare. Centro Storico

The area sits on the Adriatic hill belt of southern Marche, with rolling cultivated hills dropping toward the coast and views inland to the Sibillini range in clear weather. The Chienti valley runs just to the north and the Adriatic coast is about 6 km away, with the beaches and seafront of Porto Sant’Elpidio and Civitanova Marche nearby. The nearest larger town is Fermo, which has a substantial historic centre, cathedral, theatre and services. Loreto and Recanati are within the wider surrounding area but outside the immediate landscape radius, so they matter more for outings than for the setting itself. This part of the Marche is known for agriculture, hill towns and the footwear industry around the Fermano-Maceratese area.
