Trilocale in Argenta

This is the lower Po plain around the Valli di Comacchio and the Po Delta, with reclaimed farmland, canals and wetland basins. The Reno river passes through the area, and the Po Delta Regional Park reaches into the Argenta area with the Valli di Argenta wetlands. Ravenna is the nearest city of size, with major Byzantine monuments including UNESCO-listed early Christian buildings. The area is known for wetlands, birdlife, eel-fishing traditions in the wider delta and intensive agriculture on the plain.
