Burana, Via Virgiliana, snc, Bondeno

The area is the lower Po plain around the Po di Volano and the main Po river system, with flat agricultural land, embankments and scattered villages. Ferrara is the nearest city of size, with a major Renaissance historic centre and UNESCO status for the city and the Po Delta cultural landscape. The wider area is known for irrigated farming and for the river plain landscape of the Ferrarese.
