Quadrilocale in Cento

This is the lower Po plain between Ferrara, Bologna and Modena, with flat agricultural land, drainage canals and scattered farmhouses. The Reno river passes near Cento, and the historic centres of Cento and nearby Pieve di Cento provide the main local built heritage and services. Ferrara is the nearest major city of size, with full urban services and a UNESCO-listed historic centre, but that is outside the immediate landscape. The area is known for farming and for the Carnival of Cento.
