Via via delle Fornaci,, 114, Fucecchio

The cluster is in the lower Arno plain around the Padule di Fucecchio, a large inland marsh shared with nearby communes and protected as a nature reserve area. The Arno runs nearby, and the landscape within reach is mostly flat to gently undulating farmland with drainage canals, fields and scattered settlements. To the east and south the first Tuscan hills begin toward the Cerbaie woods and the Vinci side, but this is not a mountain setting. Empoli is the nearest larger town with rail connections, services and a substantial working town centre. The area is known for wetland birdlife in the Padule and for mixed agriculture on the plain.
