Trilocale in Greve in Chianti

The Chianti hills are the immediate landscape here, with wooded ridges, vineyards and olive groves on a chain of mid-altitude hills between Florence and Siena. The Greve river runs through the local valley. Much of the area falls within the Chianti Classico wine zone, and it is known for wine estates, olive oil and small hill villages linked by ridge roads. Greve in Chianti itself is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic centre focused on Piazza Matteotti and the usual local services. Nearby Panzano in Chianti is one of the better-known villages in the same hill landscape.
