The area sits on the northern Tavoliere close to the lower Fortore valley and the Adriatic side of northern Puglia. The Adriatic coast is about 12 km away, with the nearest seaside strip around Marina di Chieuti and the coast towards Lesina. Lago di Lesina lies within about 15 km to the east, with its long brackish lagoon landscape separated from the sea by a narrow strip of land. The nearest larger centre is Termoli, which has a port, rail station and broader services. This part of the province is known for grain fields and open agricultural land.
