Via Torre Mileto

The cluster is in the north-western Gargano, with the limestone mass of the Gargano promontory rising inland and the Adriatic coast around Torre Mileto and the Varano side close by. Lake Varano lies within this radius, a large coastal lagoon separated from the sea by a long strip of land. Much of the surrounding area falls within Gargano National Park. The nearest substantial beach area is on the Torre Mileto coast. San Nicandro Garganico itself is the nearest town of size for daily needs, and larger services are in San Severo and Foggia farther away. The wider area is known for olive groves, wheat country on the edge of the Tavoliere, and access to the wetlands and coastal landscapes of the Gargano.
