Asta a San Paolo di Civitate (FG) Via M. Mucedola, 13

This is the flat northern Puglia plain around the lower Fortore, with open agricultural land between San Severo and the Adriatic side of the province. The Fortore river runs to the north of the area. The nearest town of size is San Severo, which has a substantial historic centre and rail connections. Farther east the Gargano promontory and the Adriatic coast shape day-to-day logistics, but they are outside the immediate 15 km landscape. The area is known mainly for broad-acre farming, especially wheat, olives and tomatoes in the wider Tavoliere system.
