Bilocale in Serracapriola

This is the north Apulian plain around the lower Fortore, with open cultivated land and low rolling ground rather than a strongly defined mountain or coastal landscape. The Adriatic coast is nearby at Marina di Chieuti and Campomarino, with long sandy beaches and low dunes. Lake Lesina lies within reach to the southeast, a large coastal lagoon on the edge of the Gargano area. The nearest town of size is Termoli, which has the port, rail station, services and a walled old town on the sea.
