Tredozio – via lago di ponte

The Apennines rise immediately around Tredozio, in the upper Tramazzo valley. The Tramazzo stream runs through the area, and the Montone valley is nearby over the ridge. The Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna National Park lies just to the south-west, with forested ridges and trail access from the Romagna side. The nearest ski area is Campigna on Monte Falco, roughly 35–45 minutes by road depending on the access point and conditions. The nearest larger towns are Faenza and Forlì, which provide rail connections, hospitals and full services. The area is known for chestnut country, woodland and small Apennine villages on the Romagna-Tuscany side of the watershed.
