Rustico in Cesena

This is in the built-up area of Cesena, so the setting is primarily an urban plain between the Via Emilia corridor and the first low hills of Romagna. The Savio river runs through Cesena. The nearest landscape feature with local character is the low hill country immediately south toward Bertinoro, Longiano and the foothills, while the Adriatic coast at Cesenatico is outside the immediate 15 km landscape. Cesena is a substantial town with full services, a historic centre, the Biblioteca Malatestiana, and the Rocca Malatestiana. The area is known for intensive agriculture, fruit growing and the Romagna plain economy.
