The cluster sits in the Sacco valley below the Monti Lepini, with the Monti Ausoni and Ernici also forming part of the wider mountain frame visible around this part of southern Lazio. The Sacco river valley is the main landscape feature. Monti Ausoni e Lago di Fondi Regional Park begins to the southwest, but the core protected area is outside the immediate 15 km radius. Frosinone is the nearest town of size, with full services, rail connections and the provincial administrative functions. This area is known for olive groves, hillside villages and the corridor between the Lepini slopes and the inland plain.
