Location score 74/100The cluster is in the lower Aosta Valley with the Pennine Alps closing the valley on both sides. The Dora Baltea runs through the valley floor. Mont Avic Natural Park lies just to the south above Champdepraz and Champorcher. The nearest ski lifts are in Champorcher, about 30 minutes by road, with larger lift systems farther west in the central Aosta Valley. Pont-Saint-Martin and Verrès are the nearest small service towns, and Aosta is the nearest larger town with the full range of shops, schools and administrative services. Donnas is known for its stretch of Roman road with arches and for terraced viticulture on the valley sides; the nearby Fort of Bard is a major historic site in the valley.
