Terratetto unifamiliare in Calitri

The area sits in the Apennine hills of Alta Irpinia, with cultivated ridges, small valleys and wind-exposed uplands around Calitri. The Ofanto river valley lies nearby and shapes part of this landscape on the Campania–Basilicata side. Monticchio and its volcanic lakes are beyond the immediate area, so they are a day-trip feature rather than part of the local setting. The nearest larger centre is Melfi, which has services and a substantial historic core with its castle. This part of inland Irpinia is known for hill agriculture, olive groves, cereals and small historic towns rebuilt in part after the 1980 earthquake.
