The nearest larger centres are Terracina and Formia-Gaeta, while Fondi itself has a substantial historic centre with the Baronial Castle and the line of the ancient Via Appia crossing the plain. Sperlonga on this coast is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia and has Bandiera Blu beach status.
