The Amaseno river runs near Priverno, and the coast at Terracina and the Pontine shore is about 20 km away, so outside the scoring radius. Monte Semprevisa, the highest summit of the Lepini, is within roughly 15 km in a straight line, and the inland landscape is limestone ridges, olive groves and lower farmed valleys. The Monti Lepini area is known for karst terrain and hill towns. Priverno itself is a small historic town, and the abbey of Fossanova lies just outside it.
