Terratetto unifamiliare in Bitti

The cluster sits in the inland Sardinian hills of Barbagia on the granite uplands around Bitti, with a landscape of rocky slopes, pasture, cork oak and holm oak woodland. Monte Albo rises to the east within this radius, a limestone ridge that stands out over the surrounding interior. The nearest coast is beyond this radius, so the daily landscape is inland rather than maritime. Nuoro is the nearest town of size, with the main services, shops and hospital for this part of the province. The area is known for pastoral inland Sardinia and for the traditional polyphonic singing called canto a tenore, for which Bitti is one of the best-known centres.
