Vendesi Mezzani rustico

This is the lower Po plain between Parma and the River Po, with flat agricultural land, drainage canals and embankments. The Po is the main landscape feature in the area, and the Parma and Enza rivers are also part of the local plain. Much of the municipality lies in the Parco Regionale del Delta del Po, in the Parma Morta and Mezzani river-wetland area. Parma is the nearest city of size and has a full set of services, rail links and major historic monuments. The area is known for mixed farming and for the Po plain wetland environment.
