Albenga: soluzione indipendente con grandi potenzialita'

The cluster is on the Riviera di Ponente with the Ligurian Sea and the sandy shoreline of the Albenga plain close by. It sits where the coastal plain meets the Ligurian Alps and the first inland valleys, with the lower Valle del Centa and the Roman town of Albenga as the nearest centre of size; Albenga has a substantial historic core with medieval towers and a cathedral complex. The Isle Gallinara lies just offshore from Albenga. To the west and east, within this stretch of coast, are the resort towns and marinas of Alassio and Loano, and inland the roads climb quickly into olive-growing hills and small villages. This part of western Liguria is known for horticulture on the plain and for olive cultivation on the slopes.
