The Tiber is the main river of the wider area and flows a few kilometres to the west near Baschi. Lake Corbara lies within this range on the Tiber valley. Orvieto is the nearest town of size in the wider area; it has a full historic centre and the cathedral, though it is beyond the immediate landscape radius.
