The area lies inside the Trentino wine-growing hills known for Müller-Thurgau and for grappa distillation. Trento is the nearest city of size, with the cathedral, the Buonconsiglio Castle and full city services. Ski lifts on Monte Bondone are reachable by road from here in about 45 minutes, but they are outside the immediate landscape.
