Vittorio Veneto is the nearest larger town, with rail links, shops and services; Conegliano is the other main centre for the area. The Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape, and Miane lies within that prosecco-hill system of steep vineyard slopes, small hamlets and wooded folds. The area is known for Prosecco production.
