Rustico in San Pietro di Morubio

This is the southern Veronese plain, a flat agricultural area crossed by irrigation canals and minor roads between the Adige plain and the lower Veronese countryside. The Adige runs a few kilometres to the west. Legnago is the nearest town of size, with shops, services and a hospital. Verona is farther north and matters for work, rail links and the airport, but it is outside the immediate landscape. The area is known for arable farming and rice-growing on the plain.
